Mono explores impermanence and change—a delicate, enchanting beauty enhanced by objects in flux, such as rust dye and paper. The rust dye paper is interwoven within the beads and shows through intermittently or as the pieces move when worn. They demonstrate how the temporary stasis of nature and time leads to inevitable decay and change. The constant, however, remains beauty. Yet, Mono pieces are designed and crafted to last a lifetime as heirlooms.
